Ludhiana College of Engineering & Technology becomes PTU Inter-College Cricket Tournament 2012 Champion

Ludhiana College of Engineering & Technology defeated CEC, Landaran in commoving cricket match held under PTU Inter-College Cricket Tournament at GNDEC, Ludhiana. LCET won the match with thumping 36 runs margin. LCET scored 183 runs whereas losing team couldn t even hold until the end and fell for 147. Aditya from LCET hit highest score of 42 runs in this match. Throughout the tournament, LCET kept their winning streak by defeating North-West Institute, Moga by 122 runs in quarterfinals and GTB Khalsa College, Malout by 48 runs in the semis. Narottam, mechanical 4th year student from LCET was adjudged as Man of the Series, he scored 165 runs and took 16 wickets. It was a joyous moment for the team and the coach Mr. Satish Sharma, who came out as champions in tournament where 70 teams from various engineering colleges affiliated to PTU participated. Dr. Pawan Kumar, Principal, Dr. JS Sohal, Director, and Shri. VK Gupta, Chairman Ludhiana College of Engineering & Technology congratulated team and the coach for bringing laurels to the institute.
