Scaffolding Questions: Using Thinking Skills Categories, Trigger Questions, and Key Words
Who and how we question in the classroom are fundamental to ensuring students move beyond concrete, simple understandings to those that are more abstract and complex. The trigger question stems below can be a helpful tool for planning questioning that aligns to the level of rigor of the standard youre teaching and beyond.
