A Memory of June: My interpretation on this poem is that McKay must like the month of June and enjoy it like it a women. The theme of the poem is a joyful, exciting theme. Some tone words to describe this poem is complimentary, jovial, and nostalgic. There is personification to how it says ³June comes dancing o¶er the death of May´ because it says on how June is a person and is happy and dancing on the death of May.
