Mission Statement:

The Fisher Technical Services internship program is an once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be involved in the most innovative entertainment automation company in the world. We are offering our internship candidates the experience of taking an idea from concept to reality. FTSI provides an eight-week summer program where the applicant is directly involved in project management, design, mechanical fabrication, electrical integration, and testing. Applicants will also have the chance to receive hands-on experience with all of aspects of FTSI Automation and its most ground-breaking products.

Fisher Technical Services 2012 Summer Internship Program

Minimum Criteria:
FTSI is looking for energetic and self-motivated students who are currently enrolled in a 4-year university or graduate program. Applicants must be able to work under a variety of conditions, such as exposure to weather, loud noises and repetitive motion. Further criteria are as follows: Entering junior year or above of undergraduate degree as of 2012 Fall Semester Engineering and / or technical theatre field of study Experience with CAD drafting programs Automation and mechanical design experience

Program Details:
Interns will interact with various departments such as: mechanical and electrical design and drafting, mechanical and electrical fabrication, R&D testing and rentals as projects present themselves.

Term:
Internship Program runs from late June, 2012 until mid-August, 2012 (approx. 8 weeks). These dates are flexible in order to accommodate any previous educational or personal commitments. FTSI offers an hourly stipend; however, interns will be responsible for transportation and housing.
