WHITE TIP SHARK INFORMATION
Characteristics: White tip sharks have long
white tipped fins. Their fins are significantly
larger than most other sharks and are rounded.
Reasons for endangerment: Some reasons
that the white tip shark is endangered are its fins
are highly valued as the main ingredient in shark
fin soup. Also mounting pressure from fishing.
The sharks get caught in the nets of fishermen
and they die.
