Our professors are not Nobel Prize winners. They are not Einsteins. But they are dedicated men and women who adhere to the philosophy of education which holds that Best teaching begins with the realization that students learning is more important than teachers teaching. Because of this way of reasoning, our professors will try their best to motivate students how to learn through the concept of self-development under teachers leadership. Students will be trained how to learn by doing. Could our students change the world? Of course they can and they should. In his context, George Prince says, educating, learning and changing are so closely related to problem solving that they may all be names for the same thing Rev. Martin P. Komolmas, f.s.g., Ph.D. President Emeritus, Assuption University of Thailand

Educating Intelligences and Active Minds to change the world. A vision, a mission, an aspiration!

The ABAC Doctor of Philosophy in Management and Organization Development (Ph.D.MOD) Program, is a research-based, professional-practice doctoral program in management studies areas, particularly focused on the areas of Management in Organization, Organization Development, Organization Change, Technology and Innovation Management. Students are based at Assumption University with the collaboration of well-known international network of universities and institutes. Those who successfully complete the program will receive a degree from Assumption University.
The program consists of a combination of workshops and presentations interspersed by periods of individual research and supervision. It is structured so that the majority of registrations will be full-time and that students will combine research with ongoing careers in business, OD Practice, commerce or management education, training and/or consulting. The Ph.D.MOD is conducted in English and the nal Dissertation is written and examined in English. Students whose rst language is not English or who have not already studied successfully in an English speaking environment will be required to provide evidence of advanced pro ciency in English.

From scanning the Ph.D.MOD curriculum, it is apparent that the program is giving the student an interesting and wide base to organizational life. It seems to me the Ph.D.MOD program could be a high bene t to any manager/director/executive who understands that humans are the real important resource of any organization, and that it is important to build the right system in order to enjoy these bene ts. Of course this is an ideal program for any scholar Dr. Rita Aloni Former IODA president Senior lecturer in Ruppin-Academic Center, Israel

Lecturers in the program are drawn from the highest expertise in the eld of Organization Development and from all corners of the globe.

"From the inception of the Program, I have found it a truly gratifying experience to work with each successive class of highly motivated Ph.D.MOD students. It is a delight to see them labor diligently and energetically in burnishing their skill sets and insights in preparation for the assumption of leadership roles in planned organizational change. Change and transformation have increasingly become the sine qua non of organizational vitality in the global competition arena. Thus, the Ph.D.MOD programmatic focus is an incontestably important one. But, it is outside the Program that the supremely important work has begun to get underway, as our growing cadre of OD professionals help launch their respective organizations on the path toward the kind of systemic changes needed to survive and thrive in the 21st century.
