Western Segment _— Alternative 2a. Flower Street and 29th Street to Vamost fens .fan Asia Avenue - Part Acti ‘This segment of the alignment would extend from approximately 29th Street, on the east side of Flower Street to Exposition Boulevard where it would then turn west, along the center median right-of-way of Exposition Boulevard to approximately \ Vermont Avenue. The majority of this profile would be at-grade with an elevated segment between approximately Jefferson Boulevard to approximately 1,000 feet east of Menlo Avenue. ‘Aliernative 2b. {and 29th Street to Vermont ‘This alternative includes the same alignment as described for 2a, however, a portion of shis segment would he below grade (subway) while the majority would be at- grade. The at-grade portion would extend along the cast side of Flower Street to about Jefferson Boulevard where a the subway entry would be located. The line would then extend below grade under the Fxposition Boulevard right-of-way to approximately 200 feet west of Armory Drive, where another subway entry would be located. This alignment would transition to an at-grade profile to the Vermont ‘Avemne terminus. Alternative 2c. Elower Street and 29th Street to Vermont Avenue - All At-Grade: ‘This alternative includes the same alignment as described for 2a and 2b, however, this entire profile would be at-grade. ‘There are three proposed stations which would be located in the same location for all of the alternatives as follows: 23rd Street Station; This station would be located approximately between 21st and 23rd Streets on Flower Street. Jefferson Station: This station would be located between 33rd Street and Jefferson Boulevard on Flower Street. Exposition Park/Vermont Station: This station would be located approximately 800 feet east of Vermont Avenue on Exposition Boulevard. This station is currently designed as a single station with loading access for three trains. There is an option to expand this station to the west (towards Vermont Avenue) in the future to a double station capable of handling access for six cars.
