Jesus loved to have meals with His friends.

Imagine Jesus having a meal with your family today! Set an extra place at the breakfast table this morning. Talk about these questions: What do think Jesus might enjoy eating? Where would He want to sit? Would He have good table manners? What would He like to talk about? What would you ask Him? Thank God that Jesus is always with you and your family.

Jesus was going to eat a meal with His friends. (His friends were also called His disciples.) Jesus picked up a loaf of bread and blessed it. He broke it into pieces. He gave the bread to His friends and said, “Every time you eat this, think of me.” Then He took a cup of juice and blessed it. He gave it to His friends to drink. He asked them to remember Him and how much He loves them. Then they sang a song together.
