When was the last time Gov. O’Malley paid for a gallon of gas? Press Conference on Gas Tax Tomorrow at 12:20 p.m. on Lawyers Mall
ANNAPOLIS – While Governor O’Malley continues to push a massive gas hike despite loud and clear opposition from poor and middle-income Marylanders, AFP-Maryland wants to know when was the last time Gov. O’Malley even paid for a gallon of gas? For the last 12 years, he and his family have been chauffeured around Baltimore and Maryland on the taxpayer’s dime-even more evidence that elite bureaucrats and out-of-touch politicians who are pushing for a gas tax hike, have never felt pain at the pump. That’s why AFP-Maryland will be holding a press conference with gas tax opponents today at noon before testimony begins at the joint committee hearing. AFP-Maryland has also submitted a public information act request for the amount of taxpayer money Gov. O’Malley and his family have spent on gas. **Media are invited to attend. Please contact Nick Loffer at (443) 994-9395 or nick@afpmaryland.com.** WHAT AFP-Maryland press conference opposing the massive gas tax hikes with The Washington, Maryland, Delaware Service Station and Automotive Repair Association (WMDA).
