The Military Situation
- Violent clashes broke out between the Free Syrian Army (FSA) and Al-Assad's forces in Mezzeh district, Damascus. In addition, activists heard sounds of heavy artillery and rocket fire. In addition, many other people were injured due to clashes broke out with the Free Syrian Army (FSA) in Khirbet nuts village affiliated to Jissr Al-Shoghor City near the Turkish borders. The Internal Situation
- Al-Assad's shabiha and battalions handed over 66 corpses from Baba Amr district's victims to the families of the village of Buwaydah Al Sharqiyah who were ordered to bury them within one-hour's time in a mass grave. In addition, Al-Assad's shabiha and battalions handed over other 70 corpses from Baba Amr district's victims to the families of Kafr Aya Village. - Dr. Adnan Bin Khalil Basha, Secretary General of the International Islamic Relief Organization of Saudi Arabia (IIROSA), said" The IIROSA allocated 10 million riyals to offering aid for 3,500 Syrian families escaped to Lebanon. (Asharq Al-Awsat) Political Stances Arab - The Yemeni activist Tawakkul Karman, who won Nobel Peace Prize, visited a Syrian refugee camp in Hatay Province, Turkey and told masses of those refugees that the whole world knows that the Syrians have the right to that struggle and that all the Syrians' blood would not be in vain. (Al-Quds Al-Arabi)

- British ambassador to Syria Simon Collis "Calls for reassuring the minorities and the Alawis in Syria that they would not be harmed in the future". Moreover, he said" Britain does not intend to militarily intervene in Syria without reaching an international consensus on that matter and it should be also based on a legal base." (The Kuwaiti Al-Watan, Al-Quds Al-Arabi) - Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov unveils that the Russian officials- who recently had visited Damascustook promises from Al-Assad on tasking the Syrian vice president Farouk al-Shara'a with urgently going to Moscow -without any preconditions- for establishing dialogue with the internal and external opposition parties, including the Free Syrian Army.
