BOKA Powell Study – BOKA Powell, along with Economic Research Associates (ERA), conducted an economic study for the Dallas Farmers Market. The study provided crucial in development strategies to improve Dallas Farmers Market. Farmers Market TIF District – The Farmers Market TIF District was created to facilitate the redevelopment of previously vacant and underutilized land adjacent to the Dallas Farmers Market. Farmers Market TIF encourages new development and redevelopment to create a walkable, mixed-use neighborhood with easy access to Deep Ellum entertainment district, Downtown DART stations, and surrounding areas such as Fair, Park, the Farmers Market, and the Baylor Medical Campus. Since the creation of the Farmers Market TIF District, 998 units have been completed and 108 townhomes are planned.
