Come and experience what it might have felt like to be a part of the parade for Jesus.

We will be waving palms and walking through the sanctuary during worship. Celebrate Palm Sunday in this special way!

Jesus came into Jerusalem riding on a donkey. Two of His disciples had found the donkey and laid their cloaks on it for Jesus. The people ran to greet Jesus. They spread their cloaks on the ground. In front of Jesus and behind Him, people threw palm branches on the road and shouted, “Hooray! Hosanna! God bless the one who comes in the name of the Lord!

Serve Jesus and others by bringing your dollars and coins for the offering! The money will help the teachers and children at the nursery schools in Malawi.

Put a bandaid in your pocket. Use it to remind you that you can share the love of Jesus by helping others.

Why do we call the story “The Good Samaritan”?

Tell your family about a time when someone showed you kindness. How did you feel? Were you surprised? How do you think Jesus was involved in what the person did for you? How can you do something kind for others? Invite your family members to share their stories, too

Read the story of the Good Samaritan in Luke 10:25-37. Watch for people throughout the day who need help. Can you share a smile, a kind word, or a helping hand? Could you make a meal or a card for someone? Who is God calling you to be like in the story? How can you do that?

Practice your memory verse! You can find it in Ephesians 4:32 or in Luke 10:25-37

“Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ, God forgave you.”

Ephesians 4:32
