Objectives

The primary objective of the study was to empirically determine the relation between risk and return of mutual funds in HDFC Bank. Specifically the objectives of the study are:

To investigate the relationship between risk and return allied with mutual funds.

Understanding the overview of the mutual fund industry.

To investigate the performance of equity mutual fund for the benefit of the shareholders.

To facilitate the portfolio selection where the investors could benefit from the estimates of future risk and return.
