Instructions for Applying for AICTE new college/new course/intake variation
(Note: Incomplete applications will be rejected without any intimation to the institute/college)
1. The hard copy of the application form should reach University within one week after the last date of online application. 2. The name of the college/institute on the application should be strictly as per the latest Punjab Government Notification. 3. If there is any modification in the name of college/institute the copy Punjab Government Notification in this regard should be attached along with hard copy. 4. One application pertains to ‘n’ number of AICTE courses in one particular college/institute and not the group/trust. 5. Applications regarding regional centre should not be clubbed with applications for AICTE courses. Apply separately for Regional Centre. 6. The processing fee for each application is Rs 30,000/-. 7. The inspection fee @ Rs 15,000/- per unit (unit 30 for B. Pharmacy/B. Tech. & unit 18 for M. Pharmacy/M. Tech should be deposited initially along with the hard copy. 8. For B. Arch unit will be of 40. 9. Applications received without the receipts of prescribed fee will not be processed for academic session 2012- 2013. 10. The receipts should clearly mention the name of ‘college/institute’ (receipts with the name of group/trust will not be entertained) and the ‘fee head’. 11. For closure of course send a separate application. 12. The following documents should be provided in the CD along with the hard copy of application for introduction of new course/intake variation: a) The Change in Land Use Certificate (CLU). b) Detail of the Trust/Society. c) Resolution of society regarding start of new college/ new course. d) Department wise complete bio data of the entire faculty as mentioned in the application form. e) Department wise complete list of equipments, library books & journals.
