Caesar Characterization Assignment: Acts IIII

The play includes four strong, complex characters: Brutus, Cassius, Caesar, and Antony. Discuss three traits for each character as exemplified in Acts I-III. When listing the traits, keep in mind that none of the characters are either all good or all bad.

Recall indirect characterization techniques: What the character says or thinks The actions of the character The appearance of the character What others say about the character How others behave around the character Directions: 1. State the trait. 2. Write a quote that shows the trait. Include the act, scene, and line number (no more than two-three lines). 3. Explain how the quote exemplifies the trait. 4. Tell which type of indirect characterization is used.
