NV 89121 Human Resources: I am applying for a K-5 position in the Clark County School District. I am a recent graduate of Nevada State College, with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education, including a TESOL endorsement. I am equipped and eager to contribute to the education of the students of Clark County. My resume is enclosed for review. I consider myself highly qualified for a teaching position because of the variety of experiences I have had working with elementary students and educators. I completed my student teaching requirements in CCSD, at Innovations International Charter School, where I built great relationships with students and colleagues. As a part of my coursework at Nevada State College, I completed over 100 hours of field experience and student observations in CCSD classrooms. I was also award the S.T.E.P. UP full ride scholarship, which allowed me to start college my junior year of high school. To raise the level of professionalism within the Elementary Education field, I am a current member of The Nevada Registry. I am also a guest teacher for Clark County School District. As a former Pre-K teacher of two years, I feel that I have a deeper understanding of early childhood. I have worked in the education field for seven years. I also portray leadership skills through being a summer camp coordinator for children ages 3-12. I am interested in becoming a permanent contributor to your team.
