Story, Art, Lettering & Coloring: Doug Jennings
Special Guest Art/Story help (page 17) by Zack Edelstein. Character development help, respectively, page 10, Adam Nevler and pages 17—20, Zack Edelstien.

For over a decade and for 42 issues the Tigrikorn Comic Fanzine featured stories of a Unicorn/Tiger hybrid creature from another galaxy who comes to Earth as part of a team of freedom fighters. But the Tigrikorn Fanzine was also the showcase for student work from Cartooning Students at Kaleidoscope School of Art in Barrington IL. The following comic story is a compilation of story panels that were created two pages at a time originally apearing in Tigrikorn Zine Issues 9 thru 20. The Deev (Dieve)* Saga was the first complete story arc featuring the one-horned hero. Often the time between my artwork for each couple of pages was a matter of weeks. Therefore, each page or two often represents a separate experimentation with illustration style and layout.
* In subsequent reprintings of this saga I will correct the inonsistency of how the demon’s name is spelled. “Deev” will be the preferred choice.

It was a typical New-Comic Wednesday as Earth Teen Cyrus left the store with his weekly stash of just-released comics. Suddenly he was snatched up by intergalactic freedom fighters to help them stop an ancient evil creature that is about to be unleashed on Earth again for the first time in more than a thousand years. Come along with Cyrus, Taessa, Mert, Tigrikorn and the mysterious Imagidragon as they pool their abilities to face a supernatural danger.
