POP ART 1958-1972 .

Pop removes the material from its context and isolates the object.[2] . for contemplation.• Pop art is an art movement that emerged in the mid 1950s in Britain and in the late 1950s in the United States.[1][2] The concept of pop art refers not as much to the art itself as to the attitudes that led to it. or combines it with other objects.

Fashion: A more feminine look replaced the boyish ‘20’s styles. .MORDERNISM 1880-1940 • VINTAGE HATS . With hair hairstyles. Vogue and McCall’s printed patterns for home sewers. turbans. Older hats were modernized by changing the trims. The slouch hat was worn at an angle. and high-tilted berets. • HATS-Hats: The floppy brimmed and asymmetrical cloche was still popular in the early ‘30’s. The hour-glass figure came in during the second half of the decade. the hats grew in size – toques. Curves were back with bias cuts accentuating the hips and flaring out at the hemline.
