Do you know the Bible is filled with God’s promises to you?

And God keeps ALL of His promises! Come and discover some of those promises and give thanks for God for being faithful!

Many of Jesus’ followers were all together in one place. All at once, the sound of a mighty wind came from Heaven and filled the whole house. Then they saw flames that looked like tongues of fire moving around. At that moment, all of them were filled with the Holy Spirit. The people were able to speak in different languages. A large crowd heard all the noise and came to see what was going on. They heard Jesus’ followers and understood everything that was happening. Peter spoke to the crowd and said, “Listen to what I have to say to you about Jesus of Nazareth. God proved that he sent Jesus to you by having him work miracles and wonders.” Continue bringing in those dollars and coins for the nursery school in Malawi! Remember God will accept what you give and help it become even more! Your life will be blessed for serving God and others.

As someone reads the story aloud, use your voices or simple objects to make the following sounds: rushing wind, crackling flames of fire, people speaking in different languages and clapping hands to celebrate what had happened.

What is Pentecost?

Share with your family members about a person who has told you about Jesus. Ask your family members to share, too. Thank God for people all over the world who tell others about Jesus and His love.

Practice your memory verse. You can find it in your GPS or in your Bible in Acts 2:141.

Do a YouTube search of children singing “Jesus Loves Me” in different languages. How many find? Can you learn one or two of them? Thank God for the work of the Holy Spirit all over the world!

“But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.” John 14:26
