Script The Pugnacious Teapot. INT.

TEA ROOM A chubby looking Teapot is situated in the centre of a table, in a large, bustling tea room, where the clatter of cutlery and tea sets can be heard with a murmur of background chit chat. BANG. The Teapot starts to look around with sharp edgy movements. Teapot freezes. CAMERA PANS UP to show a tall, sleek Coffee pot sitting along the table from Teapot. The Teapot looks the mysterious newcomer up and down. Teapot becomes intimidated by the Coffee Pots size, wrinkling his nose and edging closer to this intruder. He mutters at the Coffee Pot. As the Teapot moves the clatter of his lid can be heard The Coffee Pot looks around to see what the noise is and after looking slowly side to side, eventually looks down and jumps back a little to show his surprise The Coffee Pot makes a noise to imply he asked pardon Taking this as an insult the Teapot becomes riled cheeks puff out and his attitude, movement become increasingly pugnacious. With chest out and spout in the air The Teapot replies, grunting Coffee Pot replies as politely as he can, bending the top half of him down to talk to the Teapot The Teapot fuelled by his insecurity begins to take the mick out of the Coffee Pot and mimics his speech Teapots spout in the air moving side to side After several impolite mutterings, the Teapot continues to take the mick and raises his speech and himself to annoy, intimidate the Coffee Pot CLATTER. The Coffee Pot stops replying and turns to the side in the hope of avoiding more confrontation, CLOSE UP. His once pouted spout has dropped and is hunched slightly over CAMERA ROTATES ROUND. The Teapot runs round the front of the Coffee Pot and starts to give it all that tea spitting everywhere, edgy movements, spout out, muttering As the Teapot edges the Coffee Pot to the end of the table theres a slight pause where the Coffee Pot turns his head/lid in a different direction The Teapot halts in his tracks and looks wary SILENCE. A pair of hands grabs the Teapot MUTTERING. CLOSE UP. The Coffee Pot looks on in curiosity to what is happening to the teapot CLATTER. CLOSE UP. The Teapot is plonked back on the table in a less than flattering tea cosy number- the tea cosy is incredibly feminine with the odd ribbon and a massive bobble on top The Teapot drops his spout in embarrassment and retreats, letting off a little steam! LAUGHTER can be heard off screen from the Coffee Pot END. CREDITS
