Armed Robbery

HUNTERSVILLE, NC: On Saturday, April 14, 2012, at 9:50pm, the Huntersville Police Department responded to the Food Lion grocery store located at 9129 Sam Furr Road for an Armed Robbery in progress. The two suspects had fled the scene just before the first officers arrived, running east through the parking lot toward I-77 southbound. The suspects had entered the store, brandished weapons and demanded money from the store employees. During the robbery, one shot was fired into the air inside the store and one employee was also assaulted. During the course of this investigation the Huntersville Police Department has obtained the attached photographs of the suspects. The Huntersville Police Department is asking that citizens pay special attention to the clothing worn by the suspects, and if they recognize the individuals to please contact the Huntersville Police Department.
