 INTRODUCTION OF PROBLEM

 In methanol-1 plant, after the reforming process the
flue gas is thrown in the atmosphere contains:

CO 2 : 8%
O2 N2 : 3.5% : 88.5%

From that we can recover the CO 2 to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and another uses.

 PROCESSES FOR CO2 RECOVERY FROM FLUE GAS
(1) Higher Pressure Absorption Processes. (2) Membranes. (3) Hot Potassium Carbonate. (4) Amine-based Absorption Processes.

 Typical Amine-based Absorption Process
