CITY OF YONKERS TO INSTALL FOUR-WAY ALL-RED TRAFFIC FLASHERS AT NEPPERHAN AVE. & SQUIRE AVE.

INTERSECTION New Traffic Signals Ensure Safer Crossings for Students of St. Anthony s School and PS 22 After multiple pedestrian accidents, Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano along with Council man John Larkin will unveil the installation of new all-way stop and all-red tra ffic flashers today, April 23 at 12:30pm at the Nepperhan Avenue and Squire Ave intersection. The new traffic signals will provide for safer crossings for the students of nea rby St. Anthony s School and PS 22. The intersection has long been considered a dang erous crossing due to obstructed views of the stop signs. The all-red flashers w ill be more visible to drivers as they approach.
