Life as we know it

In this world, Where we keep no permanent friends or foes, Where the thin line between love and hate exists not, Where survival for the fittest is the core principle, I’ve learnt to trust none other but my judgment. Friends have failed me, Associates have turned against that we stood for, Lovers have turned cold, Teacher evolved to cheaters and cold blankets. But amidst all the confusion, Keeping my head and soul united, Caring not bout what they do And trusting my judgment has seen me thus far And for sure will, in the foreseeable future.
