Upon receiving the DIBELs score, my assessment and intervention plan would follow the following criteria:
 Intervention instruction at Tier II is 30 minutes supplemental instruction, 60 minutes at Tier III (divided

into two thirty minute blocks)
 Quick Phonics Screener and Core Literacy Library: Assessing Reading with Multiple Measures would be

used prior to planning to target instruction  DIBELs Progress Monitoring would be done for targeted at-risk areas every two weeks.
 Upon six weeks of application of the Tier II intervention instruction, students would be assessed for

progress. If the student has met benchmark expectations, Tier II instruction would be discontinued for targeted skill. If student has not met benchmark expectations, student would be moved into a Tier III intervention plan.
 Daily phonological awareness incorporated in morning use of Teacher-Directed PALS: Paths to Achieving

Literacy Success, guided reading group use of Sound Partners and Road to the Code, and daily word work following the Fountas and Pinnell Phonics Lessons: Letters, Words and How They Work.
