The Global Leader And The Leader Within

SEP 2004 – AUG 2005

Commercial Specialist at the Trade Department, Royal Danish Embassy in Singapore (full-time+). Chief Coordinator of HCA2005 Singapore, single handed responsible for the celebration including: • Raising money (DKK500.000) – sponsor strategies, negotiations and closing deals • Coordination the events (more than 100) – organizing and structuring – project management • Link up different event partners – coach and motivate different parties • Making the marketing material – external communication • Arranging the marketing distribution • Handling the press HCA2005 Singapore taught me to handle different political and ethical interests between sponsors, partners, the marketing and the press. Further it taught me to handle work pressure in stressed situations. Worked close with Prof. Tommy Koh and Prof. Simon Tay on this project. Making entry strategies and export support to a range of bigger Danish companies who wanted to enter the Singaporean market. Making entry strategies for Danish companies taught me to search for specific information and to structure a report in order to communicate important and, for the client, valuable information.
