A. The verb TO BE in present, past and future tenses.

Remember this verb is used as an auxiliary in progressive tenses (that which is, was, or will be taking pronoun present past future st (1 sing.) I am was will (2nd sing.) you are were will rd (3 sing.) he/she/it is was will (1st pl.) we are were will nd (2 pl.) you are were will (3rd pl.) they are were will place) when combined with an action verb + ING (this is called the GERUND). With the future tense, we add be after will.

Examples: I am singing. He was singing. We will be singing.
