ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The occupant was alerted to the fire by the smoke alarms. He exited the house and then returned to rescue the pets. Once out, Fire Departments arrived and began fighting the fire and quickly treated and transported the victim for burns and smoke inhalation. The house is uninhabitable as a result of the fire.
