**ABOUT THIS SERIES
**

When I began my career as a music therapist, I quickly found that it is difficult to come by materials specifically designed for music therapy work with children. I started writing my own songs, and over time amassed an entire collection. Teachers and parents started requesting CDs of my songs for use with their students and children, which led to me creating the Listen & Learn series. The visual aides in this book are bright and colorful, and the basic structure of each song is the same. Counting to ten has never been so much fun! The reason this series works is that children enjoy listening to and singing these songs. You, as the teacher or parent, can participate as well to encourage interaction. Now get ready to listen and learn!
