What we’re learning
Our Bible stories for this week are “God sends Jonah to Nineveh,” “God Answers Hezekiah’s Prayer,” and “God Heals Hezekiah.” We will be reading “Jordan Makes a New Friend” and “Ice Cold Birthday.” We are focusing on the “ow” vowel sound in spelling. Math will include counting quarters, subtracting 2 digit numbers, reading a thermometer, and subtracting half of a double. We will focus on the letter “X” in handwriting. In Science we will be learning about light and heat.
