INTODUCTION
The spirit of parenthood and brotherhood are the essential components of Islam. Thus, as a means of uniting the UMMAH under the umbrella of Islam, the THE MAHALA ZUBAIR REPRESENTATIVE STUDENT (MRC.Z) (MRC.Z) deems it extremely necessary and wise to draw the attention of the international students about the culture of Malaysian and lifestyle (IIUM students). It is equally true that, the HOMESTAY program will give us the unique and authentic Malaysian experience that encompasses village or Kampung lifestyle, culture, agriculture and cuisine, traditional life. It is a big opportunity for (MRC.Z) to organize homesaty event to make

international student feel at home and learn traditional life of Malaysia and culture .

OBJECTIVES:
1. To draw intention to student and intermingle with Malaysian culture and learn their traditional lifestyle 2. To welcome all students in MAHALAH ZUBIAR (IIUM) to participate. 3. To offer a rare opportunity for international student to experience themselves the charm and tranquility of kampong life. 4. Offer an abundance of activities to keep students occupied an entertained and make them feel at home.

AREA OF INTEREST / TARGET GROUP

The target group for this programme includes all staffs , MRC and international students in the MAHALA . Thus, anyone who wishes to attend this programme, even if he is not a Residence of mahalah zubair , is free to participate . Specifically, the area of interest for this programme is to make the students feel home and with family by the name of MAHALAH ZUBAIRS

OUTCOMES:
1. Make the students to enjoy their life in kampong lifestyle 2. Mahallahs residents will be able to get to know each other and with homestay families. 3. Every participant would have the opportunity to intermingle and socialize with the family in kampung which will strengthen the bonds between them.

All Participant will do activities according to the village provided The time of arrival the Imam of the kampung will give talk related to the topic and welcome the participant. The entire participant they have to obey the rules and regulation of the campung. The participant will go to their family home (2 participant in one family)

STUDENTS ROLE IN THE HOMESTAY:

The student is totally accountable to the homestay parents and the students must support the rules and customs of the homestay family. The homestay environment provide the best opportunities for the development of Bahasa Malayu language skills as well as experiencing Malaysian culture .the homestay program aims to integrate international student as a regular family member through involvement in activities, family events, and daily chores

CONCLUSION:

it is always the intention that experience shared between students and the homestay family is similar to that enjoyed by parent and children in any good family relationship
