Grade: 3rd B Number of students: 20 Level: beginner Module 4: All the things I like Lesson: Hel loves jelly, Unit 9 Textbook: Set Sail 3, Express Publishing Time: 50 minutes Previous work: Food items; there is/ there are Assumed knowledge: vocabulary related to food Language focus structures: present simple Skills: speaking, reading, listening, writing General competences - to show interest in gaining new information about likes and dislikes - to understand essential information from a text Specific competences - to read and speak about food, likes and dislikes - to acquire a new vocabulary and learn the verb "to like" present simple affirmative, negative and interrogative Learning aims: - to provide vocabulary and information about food - to encourage students to read and speak using the present tense of the verb "to like" - to have fun Aids: flashcards, textbook, cassette recorder, board, notebooks, activity book, handouts Interaction: teacher – student; student – teacher; student - student Evaluation - continuous - through observation and analysis of answers.
