Instant connect, very enjoyable Used humour to put the point forth Underlying principle is that IPL is Manoranjan- entertainement Concept is brilliant The ad has is aimed at the masses, by using a bollywood overtone Without leveraging the 20-20 concept they have managed to sell a concept of entertainment 7. Suspense being maintained through out the ad which will force the viewers to stick to the ad to see the end 8. Screenplay ,casting and acting by the actors is appropriate and first Rate. 9. No major known faces or entertainers in the advertisements yet it has strong entertainment value. 10.Melodrama and screenplay based on Indian sensibilities and using the same the promote the game of cricket which is as good as a religion helps create instant likeabiity and the correlation between the two works.

No mention of cricket anywhere till the end Very long ad, seems a little dragged at times Very filmi (over the top)approach hence might not work with all audiences Works on the assumption that people know that DLF IPL is a cricket tournament

ICL: Pros: 1. 2. 3. 4.

Brings out cricket out and out Tries to instil a sense of spirit and motivation Some good visuals Nice Background Music and song that has an emotional undertone that connects with a passionate cricket lover.

Cons: 1. Lack of known faces makes ad very boring to watch 2. Ad jingle is good but does not go in sync with the video. 3. No other concept explored, played it safe by only showing the cricket visuals 4. From nowhere can one infer the entertainment value that 20-20 brings along with it. 5. By the middle of the ad you want it to end because the concept is so stretched. 6. A person without a liking for cricket would not want to watch this ad, unlike the other one. 7. Does not have instant likeability.
