   

Performs operational tasks in the areas of trade settlement, failed trade reconciliation, corporate action processing and general clerical duties. Updates investment models for benchmark funds. Loads trades and communicates swap orders. Produces end of day reporting of trading and commissions. Assists traders with project coordination, documentation and implementation. Prepares monthly/quarterly reports for commission, soft dollar and order flow reporting, as well as other departmental reports and ad hoc requests as needed or requested. Coordinates documentation for compliance and Broker/Dealer operations. Acts as the liaison between Broker/Dealers, Trading Group and Accounting/Operations staff in all operational issues. Supports all members of the group in general clerical duties and daily paperwork requirements. Coordinates and facilitates special projects as requested by management.

Qualifications and Competencies:
            

Demonstrated strong attention to detail skills. Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines. Ability to communicate time sensitive data effectively within the group and department. Proficient in the use of all Microsoft Office applications and Office Tools. Interest in learning trading and investment management skills and industry insight. Degree in Finance or Economics preferred. Series 7, Series 55 or other industry designations a plus. Basic knowledge of financial markets and operations preferred. Ability to work in a team environment, to adapt to frequent task changes and work with various personalities smoothly. Willing to handle routine tasks with strong multi tasking abilities. Open to accepting coaching and mentoring support. Position requires some flexibility in work schedule to accommodate an occasional early morning or after hour’s event. Limited travel.
