The cartoon is from Act 1 Scene 4-5. Scene 4 The Italian Palace.

This is when Romeo, Mercutio, and Benvolio go to the Capulet Ball. When they arrive at the party, the greeter expect to be greeted with hospitality but Romeo gave the feeling of intrusion. Romeo doesn’t want to dance because he is depressed and he moves too slowly by saying my soles are made of lead. Before they started to dance, they put on a mask to cover up their faces from the Capulets.

Scene 5: this is when Romeo and Juliet first meet at the ball. They meet and they both fall in love at first sight. Romeo walks over there and talks to her and says: “I am unworthy to visit this hand but I will take it as it is the Holy Shrine.” Soon after this, he says: let us do what hands do with our lips.” Right after this, they kiss. Juliet says, “My lips now have the sin they’ve took.”
