Stipendiary Lecturership In Geography St John's College, Oxford St John's College Oxford The College intends to appoint a stipendiary lecturer

in Geography for the perio d 1st October -30th June 2013. This is a temporary, fixed-term position created to provide substitute teaching during a Tutor's research leave. The successful candidate will be required to teach up to six hours undergraduate tutorials per week during the academic terms. The lecturer will be qualified to teach human geography and will be expected to share responsibility for administrative and pastoral duties for undergraduate st udents at St John's College. Candidates should have, or expect to have complete d by 1st October 2012, a doctorate in Geography (applications will be accepted f rom doctoral candidates who have successfully been examined but not yet had thei r degree conferred). The salary will be £13,789 for the period of the appointment (subject to revision in line with any general salary increases). Full dining rights throughout the p eriod of appointment will be offered.
