I propose that the theme of our 20th year reunion be “Forget About It.” For an explanation of the many meanings of the phrase, please consult the accompanying YouTube clip of Johnny Depp in “Donnie Brasco.” I encourage you all to forget about the reasons why people dread and avoid class reunions, respond that you will attend, contact your friends and encourage them to attend, and enjoy yourselves. Don’t want to go because you gained 30 pounds since high school? Forget about it. Don’t want to go because you’ve lost 50% of the hair on your head? Forget about it. Don’t want to go because you’ve gained 50% more body hair? Forget about it. Unemployed? Forget about it. Still living with your parents? Forget about it.
