I am sorry that I couldnt have thanked you early enough, but I hope you understand how much I appreciated you allowing me to interview you, shadow you, and tour your workplace for my graduation project. My experience with you on those two days will highly affect my choices later on in life when I go to pursue a career. The main reason I chose to study the career of middle/secondary education was because I want to teach students knowledge. I want to teach the knowledge in subjects such as History. I want students to learn from me because I want to be the person who complements to a students prior knowledge and hidden knowledge. I was inspired by you, and many of my previous and later history teachers, and I want students to be inspired by me to become a teacher because I believe knowledge is the foundation of life. Permitting me to shadow you for ONE workday allowed me to experience what it is like from your standpoint as a teacher. During those nine hours of shadowing you, I noticed how much you enjoyed teaching students who wanted to learn. I inferred that at least 50-75% of those particular students would one day, like me, decide to study this career. The reason I inferred this is due to the fact that I am just like those students. I also made the conjecture that later on in life those students would also notice how greatly teachers enjoy instructing students interested in learning. My interest in learning from you set off me to dream of becoming a successful teacher. You inspired me to become a history teacher. That is the reason I chose to interview and shadow you instead of seven others, and that is why I would like to thank you with my utmost regards. Your inspiration is my inspiration. Sincerely,

Aadil Sardar Malik
