How to Make an Origami Crane 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. Get a piece of paper and a pair of scissors.

Cut the paper into a perfect square. Next, fold the paper in half, and then unfold it. Fold the paper in half the other way, and then unfold it. Turn the paper over, and fold the paper diagonally, then unfold. Take the ends of the diagonal that have the crease and bring them together. You should have a diamond with the middle of your paper as the top point and the four corners all at the base. 7. Lay your paper flat on the table, the open side towards you. 8. Take the outside corner, and fold it into the middle with the side matching up with the center line. 9. Flip over and do the same to the other side. 10. You should now have a kite shape. Take the top and fold it down, crease then undo the three folds you just did. 11. Now lift the bottom corner up wards, folding on the creased lines to make a diamond. 12. Turn over and repeat step 11 on the other side. 13. Lay flat on table so it looks like a diamond. Take the outside corners and fold the to the middle so the sides are lined only the middle line. 14. Turn over and do the same to the other side. 15. Fold the paper vertically, so the folds you just made you can’t see. 16. Now taking the “legs” of your crane reverse fold them up on both sides 17. On one of then reverse fold again just the end to create the head of the crane. 18. Now, take the top and fold down. 19. Turn over and do the same to the other side. These are your wings. 20. Set the crane on its belly and smash the middle down just a little bit. 21. You have not completed your crane!
