What did the group do this week? We got up early, put on our hiking shoes, and took off to the village of La Cumbrecita, about an hour and a half away from the city of Alta Gracia. This scenic town has a string of Central European style houses along the edge of the forest. As we explored this beautiful setting, we followed the trail that led us to La Cascada, around trees, over mud puddles, and climbed over rocks for about fifteen to twenty minutes until we reached the breathtaking view. I think the part that I enjoy the most about student teaching is how much the students really enjoy having me in the classroom. They all run up to me in the morning, give me hugs and kisses, and want me to be in their class that day.

The most interesting moment in my student teaching placement was a wonderful surprise. I received a gift from one of the girls that I have become so close within such short period of time. It was very heartwarming. The girls always compliment me on my accessories. The gift that I received was a heart necklace and three bracelets.

The most enjoyable music class I have seen so far has been at one of the elementary schools. For music class, the students got to learn a popular music song and also dance in class. The students also had us get up and dance with them!
