Dear Sir/Madam, Magpie Hall Road, Chatham – Pedestrian Crossing Following the submission of planning application MC/11/1202 for Bishop of Rochester Academy, Chatham, a Condition was imposed by Medway Council for the installation of a new pedestrian crossing facility on Magpie Hall Road, along with the removal of the existing pelican crossing. A scheme has been prepared as shown on the plan overleaf, the location has been selected to suit the academy’s revised access arrangements. It is proposed to install a traffic signal controlled (puffin type) crossing. At present it is proposed that the crossing be constructed during the school term summer break. A formal public notice will be displayed on street, as part of the Traffic Regulation Order process and if you have any formal objections to the scheme they can be raised at this time. If you have any additional comments on this proposal please can you write to me at the above address or email me via firstname.lastname@example.org In order that your views can be considered please can you ensure that any comments are returned by Monday 2nd July 2012.
