vision is aspirational. mission is a clearly set out process or set of guidelines. A vision statement is sometimes called a picture of your company in the future but it’s so much more than that. Your vision statement is your inspiration, the framework for all your strategic planning. A vision statement may apply to an entire company or to a single division of that company. Whether for all or part of an organization, the vision statement answers the question, "Where do we want to go?" A mission statement is a brief description of a company's fundamental purpose. A mission statement answers the question, "Why do we exist?" The mission statement articulates the company's purpose both for those in the organization and for the public. 2. Company Vision and Mission Zesto Company Vision To be the leading food and beverage Filipino company competing with the multinational companies. Company Mission Our mission is to be the leading manufacturer and distributor of juices, dairy and related food products that best satisfy the growing needs of the customers. This, for us is the means by which we can effectively participate in the social and economic development of the communities we serve, promote professional growth and well-being of our employees, maintain mutually profitable relationship with our trade partners and achieve growth level equal to or better than the norms of the food industry. SM Vision We envision SM to be a Filipino brand that is world class. We see SM as a market leader that constantly innovates to provide best-value products and services to its millions of customers. Mission To achieve world-class standards, SM shall adhere to long-held corporate values of hard work, focus, and integrity. To meet the ever-changing needs of customers, SM shall take the lead in constantly innovating its products and services To become an employer of choice, SM shall develop its employees into professionals who are highly motivated to excel in their respective fields of service.

To generate sustainable growth and optimal returns, SM shall exercise prudence in resource management based on its vision and principles of good corporate governance. To assist and nurture the communities in which it operates, SM shall progressively build on its role as a responsible corporate citizen through its various civic and environmental programs.
3 Important of Vision and Mission in Company Vision, Mission & Value statement are needed because: 1. Could a company just float in to the future without any idea of the direction it wishes to pursue? A vision statement helps encapsulate that. 2. Mission statement is a more specific term, often hinting the specific areas or domains through which a company may realize its vision. This is important because it helps align the company with the activities it undertakes. A company pursue something that is against the means it wishes it adopt to pursue 3. Values statement defines the intrinsic expressions that drive the company's core activities. They are often based on the beliefs and the culture that manifests these beliefs. Its important for companies to define their values. These are important simply because they are like a map, and without a map, the chances of a company meandering in directions unknown are quite high. Also, companies are social beings, they dont exist in isloation - they act as entities with stakeholders in the society. These statements help the company to find thier citizenship in this society, they add accountability to their existence. Most established, reputed companies, (there can be exceptions) have these at their pillars.
