His plans come to fruition and he manages to capture the king and bring colored chaos to the world, it is up to you playing as the two princes to save your father and bring the black and white balance back to your world.

Expanded Details Q: What is the SETTING of the game? The game is set in your father’s kingdom which used to be monochrome but has since become a land full of bright colors. This gives the game a very simplistic but striking style in which the game is set across simple geometric shapes for platforms consisting mainly of primary colors. Monochrome versions of each level are also unlockable by collecting collectibles throughout the level. Q: What is the GAMEPLAY like? As alluded to earlier each level in the game is completed twice, first you play as Yin where the focus is upon simple platforming similar to early Sonic The Hedgehog or Super Mario, there are no enemies as such, though there are environmental hazards, while playing as Yin. During the second play through Yin travels along the exact route described by you in the first run (almost like ghost data in a racing game) as you play as Yang protecting Yin and yourself from the multiple enemies that appears second time round while also traversing the level. Some areas are only accessible by a certain character depending on its color only Yin can use black platforms/tunnels and only Yang can use white. Q: How do you envision the LOOK of the game? Feels like a nursery book, levels created from simple colors and shapes. Similar to some levels in Mario games such as S3-2 from Super Mario 3D Land. Q: Who is/are the CHARACTER(s) that people will be playing as? The main characters are the two twin princes Yin and Yang as they try and remove the color from their kingdom while trying to rescue their father the king. Yin and Yang look like generic stickmen with round hands, their body and head all one color and their fists the opposite. Yin is black with white hands and Yang is white with black hands :

Q: What ENEMIES will players be up against? The final boss of the game is Colonel Color but leading up to this are five mini-bosses who serve Colonel Color. Colonel Color is primarily five colors and each mini-boss represents one of five colors: Blaze is red, Jade is green, Sandy is yellow, Turq is blue and Violet is purple. Common enemies include: 1. Hue-Man:-The most standard enemy just walks from side to side 2. Snipurple:- Enemies that fire at you from a distance you must punch back their projectiles. 3. Paintball Hopper:- Similar to a Koopa Paratroopa bounces through level making them harder to hit. 4. Paint Bomber:- Drops bombs from above onto you, you must defeat them before Yin walks below them. Q: What WEAPONS and/or POWERS are at the player’s disposal? Yin has no weapons but can wall-jump whereas Yang cannot. Yang can defeat enemies by either jumping on top of them or punching them. Q: Will there be POWER-UPS and/or COLLECTABLES in the game? Power-Ups Each character can collect power-ups throughout the level which influence the other character. Yin can collect “Throwing Punches” which allows Yang to fire his fists at enemies from a distance and “Go Slow” which slows down how fast Yin and enemies move for 15 seconds to make a level more manageable. Yang can collect “Black Out” which turns all enemies black for 30 seconds making Yin invulnerable to their attacks and “Second Chance” which allows Yin to be hit once without dying. Collectibles Each level features seven “Rainbow Tokens” which can be found in hard to reach areas or within enemies and if all seven colored tokens are found you unlock a monochrome version of that level which is much harder. Q: How do you advance through the levels and WIN the game? How do you LOSE? To complete a level both characters must reach the end of the level signified by a black hole that the characters must jump in. If either character is hit by an enemy then you have

to restart the level. If you were playing as Yang you can choose to start that half of the level again or to restart from the very beginning. Q: What do you see the CONTROL SCHEME to be? The D-pad or Circle pad for movement A or B for jumping X or Y for punching R to run faster L or the Touchscreen to trigger time based power-ups Q: What style of MUSIC can you hear in the game? Fast, quick and quirky retro tunes for colored levels. Slower more relaxed remixes for monochrome levels. Gameplay Walkthrough A fire level with Blaze as a boss at the end You start the level as Yin and begin to travel through the level jumping from platform to platform and reach a swinging platform. Below the swinging platform you see the red rainbow token for this level however it is on a white platform which only Yang can use in the second run through. By jumping off the platform at the top of its swing you manage to reach the green rainbow coin and narrowly avoid a spit of lava shooting out of the molten lava the level is set on. After some more platforming you notice a “Go-Slow” Power-up, to reach it you have to wall jump twice and quickly land on a falling platform and jump again. You miss twice but manage to reach it on the third attempt and then continue to reach the end of the level collecting the pink rainbow token and jump into the black hole. The second run through then begins as you play as Yang and there are only a few enemies which you easily take care of with some quick punches however Yin begins to get ahead of you and is near some enemies so you quickly catch up and jump on top of the Hue-Men near Yin. While Yin jumps at the top of the swinging platform to reach the green rainbow token you quickly collect the red rainbow token on the white platform. The level is simple for a while as you just have to stay ahead of Yin protecting him from Paint Bombers and Paintball Hoppers. While Yin is failing to reach the “Go-Slow” power-up you run ahead and grab the orange rainbow token however during this time many enemies have got close to yin, luckily he reaches the power-up just in time and you trigger it immediately giving yourself time to protect him as he and the enemies move slower. You both now reach the end of the level and enter the black hole. You now enter the boss battle with Blaze and can select to play as Yin or Yang.

Yin If you choose to play as Yin the boss battle is usually conducted using platforming to cause indirect damage. During this battle Blaze would launch fireballs towards you so you would position yourself in front of wooden walls holding back water by causing him to burn down these barriers the level would fill with water and Blaze would be defeated when all barriers were destroyed. Yang Yang takes a more direct approach and normally involves direct combat this battle would also involve a water theme. In this battle you would have to approach Blaze avoiding his fireballs and punch him into the walls at which point he would drop into water at the bottom of the level. Repeating this process three times would defeat Blaze. Each boss battle could be approached from either perspective and each would differ but revolve around a theme as demonstrated by the above example.
