Stage Induction set (5 minutes) Pre-reading stage (8 minutes) Write out a message from the telephone conversation. Read the telephone conversation with correct intonation. Fill in all the blanks in the online application form correctly with the guidance. Teaching and learning activities 1. Pupils are asked about their PKSR 1 English paper. 1. Pupils are given/shown examples of online application. 2. Pupils discuss on item in the application form. e.g.: What should you write in the online application form? Terms and conditions 1. Pupils take turn to read the telephone conversation. 2. Pupils underline words that they do not understand. 3. In pairs, pupils write out the message in the paper provided/in the exercise book. 4. Pupils try to guess the speaker. 1. Pupils are given questions to be answered. 2. Pupils fill in the blanks (online application). 3. Pupils discuss the answers with friends. 4. Pupils exchange the answers and discuss them with the whole class. 1. Pupils are asked what they have learnt on the day. 2.
