RE: Administrative Salary Review Data - Revised

BACKGROUND Annually the Administration presents the Board of Education recommendations for Administrator increases. The administration considers several different factors prior to presenting the request to the Board of Education for approval. These factors include changes in contract terms, internal comparisons, and comparisons with the North Western Personnel Association (NWPA).

SUMMARY OF FINDINGS Based upon the findings, presented are the recommendations for the administrative compensation for the 2012/2013 school year. With this recommendation the following contract provisions would change:  Changes in Contract Days o Director of Assessment and Research moving to 12 months. o District’s Division Head personnel moving to 11 month schedule; August 1 through June 30. Leadership o Division Heads will also have additional curriculum and building wide responsibilities.

Administration is recommending increases to the base salaries for the categories listed above totaling $19,361.16 annually. Administrators not on an existing contract with defined compensation and benefits will receive a one-time payout equal to 2% of their annual salary totaling $11,696.92. There are no recommendations to change any existing benefits. Administrative compensation increases and one-time payout costs for the 2012/2013 school year will be $31,057.98. NEXT STEP Move to approve the recommended administrative salaries and one-time payouts for 2012/2013 as presented.
