Lets read 1Peter 4:9-11; 1Corinthians 15:58 What is Hospitality? Hospitality is as old as civilization itself, dating back to the ancient custom of braking bread with passing strangers. The word Hospitality gets back to ancient times and means catering. This is giving help to the needy in the society and comfort to the guests. Responsibilities of the Hospitality Department. Make people feel welcome. Handle all welfare needs of the church. Entertain the visitors. Visit church members who are sick. Look out for those absent from the church for a long time and visit them. Interview members with needs and make recommendation to the church for final approval.

Greeters Welcome people and open car doors for them and extend a hand to the person that is getting out. Always look clean, smart and properly dress. Help the visitors to the refreshment room after each service.

Information desk Unit To attend to the visitors who are looking to gather as much information as possible to make their decision about the church. To attend to visitors and members who would want purchase gospel materials.

Usher Unit Welcome members to church politely with a bright and smiling face. Always look clean, smart and properly dress. Ensure that sits within the church are properly arrange for every service. Politely direct members on their sitting position within the church during services and special programs. Collect offering and tithe during the services. Count the money collected. Ensure that proper record of money collected during each service is kept. Take attendance of members during church service and record it. Keep the church hymn in order, distribute them during service and also collect them after use. Guide and watch members during ministration while service is on. Distribute visitors slips to visitors during each service. Keep record of the number of souls that where saved during each service. To be involved in procedures for Emergencies.

Welfare Unit Work hand in hand with the protocol department in serving the pastor and the guest minister during service and after service. Give refreshment and comfort to the visitors
