In a Hadith that is narrated by Anas we find that a man came to the Prophet and said: "Messenger of Allah." In another Hadith he said: "None of you believes until he loves me more than he loves himself. they are with those whom He has favored: the Prophets (peace be upon them all). I will not see you. I love you more than my family and my possessions." Allah then revealed: َ‫وهي يُطع ٱَّللَ وٱلسسُول فَأُوْ لَـ ِٰٓٮكَ هع ٱلهرييَ أَ ًۡعن ٱَّللُ علَ ۡيہن هيَ ٱلٌهبِيِّـۧيَ وٱلصِّ دِّيقِييَ وٱلُّہَد ٰٓاِ وٱلصهـلِِييَ ۚ وَسُي‬ َ َ ِ َ ‫ِ ِ ه َ ه‬ ِ َ َ ِّ ِ َ ‫َ َ ه‬ َ ِ َ ‫َ ہ‬ َ َ َ ً۬‫أُ لَـٰٓٮ زفيق‬ ‫وْ ِكَ َ ِ ا‬ "Whoever obeys Allah and the Messenger. . I remember you and I cannot wait until I can come and look at you. When I enter it. the True Saints.

Fourth benefit: We draw valuable lessons for our life.” (Ahzab:21) Many people study biography of individuals who they consider to be important and imitate their actions. This Divine book taught the Prophet and his companions how to deal with different events through their lives. you are following the one who the Almighty God called him “The Praised One”.Second benefit: Sirah An-Nabawiyyah helps us in having a better understanding of Quran and Islam. The Holy Quran was revealed in stages and it took almost 23 years for it's revelation to be completed. The Quran says: ً۬ َ ‫ۡ ْ ه َ ۡ ۡ َ ۡ ِ َ َ َ َ َ ه‬ ُ َ َ ً۬ َ َ َ ۡ ‫َ ِ ه‬ َ ‫لهقَ ۡد كاىَ لَكنۡ فِى زسُول ٱَّللِ أُسوةٌ َسٌَتٌ لِّوي كاىَ يَسجُوا ٱَّللَ وٱليَوم ٱۡلَخس وذكس ٱَّللَ كثِيسا‬ “Ye have indeed in the Apostle of Allah a beautiful pattern (of conduct) for any one whose hope is in Allah and the Final Day. there is no better example to be followed then the example of Muhammad (pbuh). and who engages much in the Praise of Allah. Many events that happened during the life of Muhammad (pbuh) and his companions are mentioned in the Holy Quran. If you follow his example. and indeed he was a Mercy for all the worlds. The life of Prophet (pbuh) is indeed a great source of spiritual uplifting. Third benefit: Uplifts our spiritual level. For a Muslim.

 Sirah in and of itself is one of the greatest miracles of the Prophet (Sal Allahu Alayhi Wa Sallam)  Sirah lays out a precise methodology of the revival of the Muslim Ummah (Community)  Sirah brings about comfort and solace to the heart  Sirah is the study of the best of all matters .The Cause of Biography of the Prophet It is Stated in the Holy Quran: ‫َ ِ ه‬ ٌ‫لَقَد كاىَ لَكن فِي زسُول هللاِ أُسْوةٌ َسٌَت‬ َ ْ ُْ َ َ َ َ ‫ه َ ْ َ ْ ِ َ َََ َ ه‬ َ َ O‫لِّوي كاىَ يَسْ جُو هللاَ واليَوْ م اْلخس وذكس هللاَ كثِيسا‬ “In truth in (the holy being of) Allah’s Messenger [blessings and peae be upon him] there is for you a most perfect and beautiful model (of life) for every such person that expects and aspires to (meeting) Allah and the Last Day and remembers Allah abundantly” Incidents and situations from the life of our beloved prophet are real life lessons for all to help us succeed in this life as well as in life hereafter.  Sirah enhances our love for the Prophet(Sal Allahu Alayhi Wa Sallam)  Sirah educates us about the meaning of the Qur’aan  Studying the Sirah raises our hopes and elevates our spirits  Sirah strengthens our eeman & soul.

the Qur'an is the word of God for Muslims. is the Sunnah. The prophecy of Muhammad is believed to be a continuation of the Abrahamic message of God. before whom came other prophets. Moses and Jesus. Abraham. the sayings and actions of the Prophet. . Another major source of guidance for Muslims. so the Prophet Muhammad is the word of God in action.Prophet Muhammad. amplifies and applies the Qur'an to daily life. therefore. Sirah Rassul Allah. including Adam. The Sunnah and The Sirah What about the Prophet Muhammad. the 'trodden path'. The Sunnah sets the norms for Muslim life and conduct. The narratives of the Prophet's life developed into an important genre. his Sunnah and the Sirah? The Prophet Muhammad is believed to be the last prophet to mankind. This means that for Muslims the Prophet is the role model for how they should behave and understand the Qur'an. and is one of the primary sources for Islamic law. and it is traditionally another source of guidance and reverent study. the 'living Qur'an'. the tradition of biography.
