Information Technology (IT):


1 Responsible to the IT Manager and the Site/Camp Manager for the daily execution and overall successful operation of Information Technology responsibilities for DynCorp Site 4. IT Specialist works in close concert with DynCorp staff and other organizations as required to ensure the smooth and orderly execution of Information Technology Requirements. Provide necessary Communications/IT equipment to DynCorp employees in order for them to execute the mission. Maintain accurate records and reports and submit all documents within the required timeframes. Back-up share drives on external hard drives. Set-up files permission control. Evaluate computer hardware/software to purchase. Upgrade software and hardware. Submit trouble calls for ISP when problem arise. Maintain inventory of equipment. Maintain the File and internet server of the site. In-charge with computer hardware and software installation. Troubleshoot computer software and hardware failures. Safeguard the security of desktop and also the security audit on Desktops, Networks, Hardware and Software. Monitor to insure proper procedures are being adhered to by users. Provide operating System Support, on-site client support and communication support

Communication (Comm.):
21 Responsible to the Communication Manager and the Site/Camp Manager for the daily execution and overall successful operation of communication responsibilities for DynCorp Site 4. Ensure the smooth and orderly execution of purchase requests for Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company (PLDT) local lines and Sky Cable television/Dream Cable Satellite is being completed. Identification of specific mission requirements. Execute and be Point of contact for all purchase requested submitted by the customer installations of Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company (PLDT) phone lines and cable television. Provide necessary communications equipment to DynCorp employees in order for them to execute the mission. Coordinate all necessary and appropriate actions to insure timely installation of commercial telephones and CATV. Shall resolve commercial telephone services outage and facilitate restoration of services with Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company (PLDT). Shall resolve CATV services outages and facilitate restoration of service with local CATV provider. Escort and coordinate with local PLDT and CATV representatives. Liaison with PLDT main office in Davao when Communication Officer is absent. Submit trouble calls via email to Davao office when phones lines go down. Follow up on any problems that have been submitted. Prepare purchase request for installation and relocation of phone lines or CATV. Maintain records of all IT/Communication for the whole Site 4.

Was given a special task to prepare Quality Control Checklist Monthly reports as required by the Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC). Reminding all concerned personnel regarding the submission of their reports for the completion of reports as required by the Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC).
