Demon verse

Sheets swamped in sweat From suffocating dreams Shackled face down in bed Shivering on a summer night, Calling to you once more. With muted mouth open, Empties exiled screams; Sleep escapes with hopes; Quiet unseen demons stay To play hide and seek In the depths of my soul Where flowering fears Gnaw gleefully inside me Making dreams lose luster, Decomposing in evil delight. The days of rampant solitude Convince even outside light To pass by with indifference.
