Lake Orion Family Dentistry welcomes new associate dentist

Dr. Brad Greenfield and the Lake Orion Family Dentistry team are excited to announce the addition of Dr. Stefani Strange. Strange graduated at the top of her class from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. We interviewed a lot of really good candidates and she really stood out above the rest, said Dr. Greenfield. She is very enthusiastic about dentistry and this community. Strange grew up in a town outside of Lansing called Laingsburg. Its just a small farm town, she said. There isnt even a full stop light where I lived. Strange said her father, who is also a dentist, helped her throughout dentistry school. I sat down and talked to my dad about it, she said. I followed around many of his friends because he didnt want to influence me. Strange said following in her fathers footsteps has been a blessing. When I was in school, it was nice to have someone to relate to and to know what I was going through because it was a hard experience, said Strange. When looking for a place to work, she said she didnt want to just settle on a place, but she wanted to find the best fit for both her work and life. Strange believes she has found it with Lake Orion F a m i l y Dentistry. A f t e r interviewing here, I realized this city has much to offer. I like many outdoor sports and I love to run, she said. I grew up living on a lake, so I like water sports skiing, wakeboarding that kind of Dr. Brad Greenfield and the team at Lake Orion Family Dentistry Welcomes Dr. stuff. Oxford Academy of Dance is always trying to keep up with the needs of the community. They offer classes for all ages and levels taught by highly qualified instructors at affordable prices. The 6,000 square foot facility has 2 large dance rooms, 1 pilates/dance room, 2 bathrooms, a spacious lobby/waiting area, viewing windows, music and piano room, and ample parking. PROGRAMS Oxford Academy of Dance offers programs in Dance, Pilates, Zumba, Voice & Piano. They offer dance classes in jazz, tap, lyrical/contemporary, ballet, pointe, acro, hip-hop, combo classes, tot classes and performing companies and competition companies. They offer classes for all levels for students ages 18 months to adults. The students perform in a spring recital in June each year. Several of the students at Oxford Academy of Dance have been recognized for their talent at many competitions and workshops. Many of the girls from our competition team have been awarded scholarships and have been given opportunities to perform around the country. I am so proud of the hard work these girls have put into their dancing. It is nice for their hard work to be recognized. From the start we have emphasized learning proper technique and it is becoming very clear that our hard work is paying off. Each year I can see huge improvements in my students. It is so exciting to see them grow, I cannot wait to see what the following years will bring, states dance director, Kati Clark. Students from Oxford Academy of Dance have been named All Star Dancers, Junior Miss and Teen Miss Starmaker, awarded Power Pak Scholarships, received workshop scholarships from Dupree, VIP Talent Competition, Blue Lake Summer Dance Program, Dance Caravan, Wild Intensive Workshop & Revolution Talent Competition.
